‘What do I eat in a day?’ A day where I need to work – aka teaching 7+ hours a day of classes and Personal Training – and doing aworkout. I will show you my daily eat routine:
06.00 AM – BREAKFAST
First a little side note girls: the food I eat – and the amount of food – is based on my activity level. This suits me very well. My main goal with this diet is lowering my fat percentage a little bit. I don’t want to lose a lot of weight. I eat food so my muscles can grow and at the same time stay lean. What I love about my lifestyle? That I can exercise whenever I want, I have loads of energy, I eat stuff I really love to eat during the week and feel comfortable in my own body. All at the same time.
What I eat for breakfast on a work day?
- 40 grams of oatmeal
- 200 ml of unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium banana
- 2 hands of frozen blueberries
- 2-3 tbsp of peanut butter powder chocolate
10.00 AM – SNACK 1
After a busy work morning – I reached 3 Personal Training sessions in a row – it’s time to sit down and drink some coffee. What I ordered? A medium coconut cappuccino with almond milk. Winner.
I was also pretty hungry when I was drinking coffee. So when I left the coffee place I ate my low calorie snack. This is by far my favorite low calorie snack. It’s a pack of rice corn crackers and only contains 90 calories. The taste is also AMA-ZING. Taste almost like popcorn.
12.00/12.30 – LUNCH
I’m a big eater and so I like to think that I eat a lot. That’s why I always eat a big salad for lunch with lots of veggies. Keeps me full for a long time. The recipe?
- 150 grams of lettuce
- 6-7 pickles
- 2 tomatoes
- 5-6 cherry tomatoes
- 80 grams of seasoned tofu
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- Salt + pepper
- 2-3 tbsp of 50% Ketchup from Heinz – sometimes I mix it up with salsa sauce
1.30 PM – PRE WORKOUT FUEL
Before I start my workout – like 30-45 minutes in advance – I drink my favorite pre workout drink: NOCCO. Nocco is a drink for athletes and contains caffeine. My body works very well on caffeine; so that’s why I drink it. It gives my workout the extra boost I need. One can only has 3 calories in it. My favorite flavor? For sure the Caribbean aka pineapple. I love to drink NOCCO ice cold.
DURING MY WORKOUT
During my training I always drink BCAA’s. It’s something I like to drink when I’m training. Water makes me nauseous. The BCAA’s I drink are from Body & Fitshop and it’s the flavor raspberry. I tried the watermelon also, but this is the real favorite.
During the week I try to train between 75 minutes and 90 minutes. My training always consists of some cardio (for like half an hour) and the rest is weight training. I train different muscle groups during the week. I really love to have that time a day to work on myself. Literally. With weights.
3.00 PM – SNACK 3 (AFTER WORKOUT SNACK)

After my workout I always eat-drink pineapple. Why I do that? Because I need some fruit sugars in my system. Because of the training my glucose level is low. With drinking the pineapple juice and eating the slices my body comes alive again. Within minutes my energy comes back.
7 -8 PM – DINNER
A little pre dinner snack: 1 piece of goat cheese with honey. Funny fact: until 5 months ago I thought I didn’t like goat cheese. I don’t know why my brain was thinking that because now I really, really love it. Crazy, right? 1 piece of goat cheese is approximately 55-60 calories.
After the little snack I had this as my dinner:
- 50 grams of coconut basmati rice
- Loads of green beens
- Salt + pepper
9- 10 PM – SNACK 4
A while after I had my dinner I fancy something sweet. What I eat? Snack A Jacks rice cakes. My favorite flavor is chocolate, but sometimes I mix it up with caramel. I had 2 of the chocolate rice cakes. Each cake contains 55 calories.
And to end the day – I came home at 9.30 PM and my day started at 5.45 AM – I ate an apple. My favorite apple is the Granny Smith. Really love the flavor.
Also a little recap of how active my day was. Each work day is busy and I take a lot of steps. Normally I’m walking between 15.000-20.000 steps a day.
