THE NO BAKE NUTELLA-KINDER CHEESECAKE

What if you are not a #kitchenqueen and still want to rock that cheesecake? Just make a no bake cheesecake. So that’s exactly what I did. I created a crazy delicious no bake Nutella- Kinder cheesecake. Want the full recipe? Check it out:

WELCOME TO CHEESECAKE HEAVEN

The chocolate queen strikes again; and yes I’m talking about me. I really love love love chocolate from the bottom of my heart. It’s food that makes my soul happy. I don’t know what it is, but I’m obsessed with it. I’m not a savoury girl; I’m definitely the biggest sweet tooth in the world. So last Saturday I created a cheesecake with a gluten free base that’s filled with all my favorite Kinder chocolates.

But before I could decorate it with all my favorite chocolates I needed to create the base of the no bake cheesecake. I prepped the base the night before I ate the cake. So on Friday evening I stepped into my kitchen and created a gluten free base. How did I do it? Check it out below:

THAT HAPPY CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE SMILE

So for the gluten free base I used two different types of cookies: I first took 6-8 pieces of gf look-a-likes-oreo cookies and after that I added ‘speculaasjes’. Speculaasjes are a typical Dutch cookie and it tastes like kardemom/ cinnamon cookies. I’m super happy with the fact I could FINALLY eat a cake. You know why? Because I’m allergic to wheat and most of the times the base of a (cheesecake) is made with wheat. But if you make it yourself you can leave it out and use the gluten free cookies. Yay!

WHAT’S IN THE BASE?

So one night before you want to eat the Nutella-Kinder cheesecake; you need to prep the base. For the base I used gluten free cookies, but of course you can always use the ‘normal cookies’. No worries about that. I also filmed the whole baking process for you, girls. It’s on my YouTube channel ‘INDI”   . Go check it out if you like. And of course for some guidance you can use the video to make the no bake cheesecake.

THE STEPS:
THE COOKIE LAYER

  1. First grab the spring form – it needs to be 20 cm
  2. Put some baking paper under the spring form
  3. Put some butter in the form so the cake will come out easier
  4. Grab a  big bowl where you can put the cookies in
  5. Crumble all the cookies until there are no big chunks in it anymore
  6. Add 100 grams of butter
  7. Add 1 spoon of Nutella
  8. MIX IT ALL IN THE BOWL TOGETHER

HOW TO MAKE THE CREAM CHEESE?

  • 3 packages of cream cheese (200 ml per package- so in total you use 600 grams of cream cheese)
  • 6 spoons of Nutella (almost the whole jar)
  • 1 package of vanilla sugar
  • MIX IT ALL TOGETHER IN A BOWL AND SPREAD THE CHEESE ON TOP OF THE BASE

After you put the cookie layer and the Nutella cream cheese together in the spring form; leave the no bake cheesecake for at least 3 hours in the fridge. I left mine in the fridge overnight. I took the cheesecake out the fridge 15 minutes before I started decorating it.

WHAT’S ON TOP?

So for the topping of the Nutella cheesecake I used my favorite Kinder chocolates. So I wil tell you how much I used of every chocolate:

  • 8 pieces of dark KinderBueno
  • 8 pieces of white KinderBueno
  • 10 pieces of maxi KinderBueno
  • 1 Kinder egg

Put in on the Nutella cream cheese layer. Decorate it how you like it, but remember: #doitforthegram
